Friends, it鈥檚 hard to tell exactly what awaits you upon returning home.

Canada Day is coming up and it will be a July 1 like no other. Many people will be waving their flags at half mast, if at all, and others will be confused not sure what to do knowing that with the discovery of the remains of 215 children from one school in Kamloops, B.C. alone, our history is tragically and brutally flawed. Waving a flag now will be difficult, if not impossible, unless we make a commitment to right action in reconciliation during the immediate years ahead.

鈥淲e instill in them a pronounced distaste for the Native life so that they will be humiliated when reminded of their origin. When they graduate from our institutions, the children have lost everything Native except their blood,鈥� said Bishop Grandin.

I am so very proud of all the 黑料吃瓜网 graduates getting through the school year during these trying times, but I have to say that I am especially proud of my son. It means so much that he made it through to the finish line.

The Maze Runner, written by James Dashner, is the first book of the Maze Runner series. The series consists of six books total and the three main books, The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials and The Death Cure, have all been adapted into movies, although they are quite different from the books. The book was published by Delacorte Press in 2009 and the genre is Young Adult-Dystopian-Science-Fiction.

Editor鈥檚 note: Yellowknife Coun. Stacie Smith delivered a powerful members statement at the June 14 regular council meeting. The message came following the finding of 215 unmarked graves of former residential school students in Kamloops in May.

Canned chicken. The first time I encountered a canned chick was while working out on the tundra. I had never even seen or heard of a canned chicken before. I was holding, a can of canned chicken in my hand. It was the first time I had ever seen or heard of such a thing.
