Making photos that create a sentimental longing for home, a wistful remembrance of days gone by is my priority with every family I meet.

Art, in its many forms, has always been part of my life and family. Making photos was something I watched my grandfather do for as long as I can remember.

My mother’s attic is chockfull of manila envelopes labeled by names, storage bins bursting at the seams, albums, and loose photos scattered around. A lifetime with my grandfather behind a camera created more memories than any one of us could hold onto, and every time I find myself lost in her attic, I remember something I had forgotten forever ago.

I leave homesick for my childhood and for the love that was shared with me through all those years. Photography is one of many gifts my grandpa left behind for us. It is the gift I want to share with anyone willing to accept it.

Documentary photography is about telling the story of your family. How you share your love with each other, the wide-open laughs, and the small quiet secrets you hold. It’s about finding those small moments and routines that you don’t even notice. I want to create a reflection of this chapter in your life, so years from now you can be filled with the joy from this moment that we made together.
