Fred Sangris re-elected Ndilo chief

Fred Sangris will serve a fourth term as chief of Ndilo.

Preliminary election results on Aug. 18 showed him winning with 131 votes of 364 ballots cast.

A five-day appeal period is now in effect until Aug. 23 at 3 p.m. If the victory holds, Sangris will serve a three year term.

Coming in second to Sangris was Shirley Tsetta with 101 votes. Liz Liske received 90 votes while Ted Tsetta earned 43.

Advance voting was held from Aug. 11 to Aug. 14. An all-candidates forum was held Aug. 6.
