Seven personnel responded to a fire alarm at Norther Heights Condo on June 24. As it turns out, there was never any fire.

Residents at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Heights Condo in Yellowknife were likely woken up early on Tuesday morning. Around 1:15 a.m. on June 24, the building's fire alarm went off. Residents quietly made their way downstairs to the building's foyer to spot an ambulance and firetruck outside. But according to city communications advisor Saxon Chung, there was never a fire to begin with.

"The Yellowknife Fire Division arrived on scene and determined there was no fire at the location," said Chung, who explained a change in the building’s water pressure triggered the alarm.

Chung added that seven personnel responded and the crew remained on site for about 40 minutes.
