Randy Jen passed away suddenly yet peacefully at home on July 26,2025 at the age of 63 in Yellowknife, NT. Randy is survived by his two children Brooke (Rowan Novinger),Gates(Wynter McQueen)and his precious grandson Westin; his loving sisters Eva (Jim Wong), Edna (Lorne Warrington), Ronda (Richard Chiasson), sister-in-law Pia Williams, brother-in-law John Parry; his special friend Karen Lloyd and her daughter Coralie. Randy was predeceased by his loving parents Wesley & Doris Jen, sister Rosanna Parry and brothers Ross and Edward.

Randy was born and raised in Saskatchewan, but by his mid-20s he moved to Yellowknife where he built a life, home, family and community. He was known for his passions: to enjoy life, eat well, and fish often. Randy will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure to know him. Being a social butterfly and kind man, he really brought people together.

As we continue to be kind, strong, and oriented in community, we honour him. May we all live on, and fish on, in tribute to Randy.

A public Celebration of Life will be held in Yellowknife on August 24, 2025, at the Legislative Assembly from 2:00-4:00 PM with the service beginning at 2:30 PM.
