Municipal elections were held in many Nunavut communities on Monday.
Much of the Kivalliq will go to the polls at a later time, however, due to inclement weather β voting was postponed in Rankin Inlet, Baker Lake, Chesterfield Inlet and Whale Cove.
Returning officers in those communities will announce make-up dates.
Where a difference of less than two per cent occurs in the vote count, a recount will be held. If a tie occurs, a winner will be chosen by a draw.
