Fort Providence RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a wanted person.

Police say they received a tip on May 9 that Logan Causa, 24, a suspect with an active arrest warrant from several previous occurrences, was at a residence in the community.

“Police attended the residence but were denied entry by the homeowner. A warrant to enter the residence was subsequently obtained and executed,” RCMP stated in a Thursday afternoon release. “Causa was located inside the house but escaped officers after a struggle.”

No officers were injured as a result, but Causa remains at large and is currently facing charges including resisting arrest, escaping custody, assault, robbery and more. Police do not believe, however, that Causa poses a risk to the general public

If you see him or have any information on his whereabouts, do not approach him and contact the Fort Providence RCMP at 867-699-1111 or submit a tip online to Crime Stoppers at p3tips.com. If it's an emergency, call 911.
