Fort Providence RCMP are asking for the public鈥檚 help in finding a wanted person.

Police say they received a tip on May 9 that Logan Causa, 24, a suspect with an active arrest warrant from several previous occurrences, was at a residence in the community.

鈥淧olice attended the residence but were denied entry by the homeowner. A warrant to enter the residence was subsequently obtained and executed,鈥� RCMP stated in a Thursday afternoon release. 鈥淐ausa was located inside the house but escaped officers after a struggle.鈥�

No officers were injured as a result, but Causa remains at large and is currently facing charges including resisting arrest, escaping custody, assault, robbery and more. Police do not believe, however, that Causa poses a risk to the general public
