Labour Day, on Sept. 1, is a statutory holiday to recognize the contributions made by workers.

The day has been observed since 1894, and for many, the weekend of Labour Day is also the last long weekend of the summer.

In honour of working people, here are a few questions about labour, in Canada, in the workplace and in popular culture. How many can you answer correctly?

Good luck.
